English: “In the 90s she was one half of popduoen M2M, but since 2006 Marit Larsen released music under his own name. Now she is on the way with his first independent album and concert in Copenhagen.   Marit Larsen was teenage star as one part of the duo M2M, that big hit with ‘Do not Say You Love Me’, which sold 12 million copies worldwide. It is almost 20 years ago, and the now 32-year-old Norwegian singer is now a completely different place.

Since she debuted in 2006 as a soloist, she has had great success at home in Norway. Within the critically acclaimed ‘When the Morning Comes’, which was also the first album, she definitely stood to produce.

Right now she is busy recording the follow up, and the music has been described as her most personal to date: More Joni Mitchell and Gillian Welch than Teen Pop, more people than pop, more diversified and more soul.

The upcoming album is set for release in April, also marks another significant step in Marit Larsen’s career. It is the first thing she emits independently of a record label and instead of its own start-up label.

Immediately after the release, she takes on tour with his band (consisting of Mari Kreken, Tor Egil Kreken and Christer sloe), and here also get locals the opportunity to get acquainted with the new popperler when she guests Huset-KBH.

All in a more personal and near wrapping and much more Marit.”
